Applications are invited for One (1) post of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DST sponsored research project entitled "Group Transfer and Mechanistic Investigation of Some Unprecedented Reactions" at the Department of Chemistry, IIT Guwahati. The appointment will be on contract basis initially for one (1) year, may be extended based on performance.Qualification and Experience:JRF: Masters Degree in Chemistry with a consistently good academic record. It is desired that the candidate to have valid GATE score or NET qualification.Pay:JRF: Rs.16,000 p.m. (consolidated). In addition HRA and Medical facilities as per Institute rule.Interested candidate must bring application on plain paper with curriculum vitae giving all educational qualifications and experiences in details along with copies of relevant documents to attend a Walk – in – Interview to be held in the Dept. of Chemistry, IIT Guwahati on 5th August 2010 at 2.30 p.m. Advanced copies can be sent to Prof. B.
